Rosie Dilger, Ratepayer Advocate from the Department of Public Works will make an announcement about a proposed Recology rate change and provide an opportunity for public input.]
HANC's monthly (except August) general membership meeting is held downstairs at the Park Branch Library, 1833 Page Street (between Cole and Shrader) on the second Thursday of the month, beginning at 7 pm. Our meetinngs are open to the public and free to attend.
We are in important and somewhat dire times. Despite our local government officials' positions on the Trump administration, frequently opposing and taking strong stands, San Francisco residents still will be affected by many of the antics of the man-in-charge with the support of his robust Republican Congress.
Many questions, thoughts and feelings are still undetermined and unsettled surrounding the introduction of uncomfortable and unacceptable executive orders coming from the commander-in-chief. We need some confidence about our near future and answers to our questions . . . like what’s going to happen next month?
